What is Body Mass Index?
Body Mass Index is a standardized ratio of weight to height, and is
often used as a practical marker to assess obesity. BMI can be
calculated by dividing your weight (in kilograms) by the square of your
height (in meters). A BMI between 18.5 and 25 is considered normal for
most adults. Higher BMI's may indicate that an individual is overweight
vice visa.
