Overweight can lead to raised oestrogen levels and prevent ovulation. Fat cells continually release oestrogen affecting the release of FSH. By reducing your weight might restored hormonal balance.

Being underweight by more than 15 % can affect your ovulation. Too little body fats may cause oestrogen level to fall and affect your menstruation cycles and cervical mucus.
